  1. These relays may be too much, but keeping the extra relays in the toolbox for backup seems reasonable.
  2. The relay socket uses an interlocking design that is easy to install. Just make sure you follow the wiring diagram. It works for both positive and negative activation.
  3. 12+16 gauge tinned copper wire. It is more corrosion and oxidation resistant compared to bare copper wire.

Just got through refurbing a 1980's Ford bucket truck. the old relays for the lift were very corroded and could tell from the evidence of plastic heating a 30 amp relay was not really up to the task. I up sized the wires and used these relays. kept the fuse size the same. no issues now.

Purchased these relays to completely re-wire my Honda TalonR. So far they are working great - I wish the tails were at least 4 to 6 inches longer but I made it work. Good value for the price.
