I first ordered a different dog door not realizing it was too short but it was a total pain in the rear to put together, but this one was super easy & fits great!

The doggy door is pretty good. It seems like it'll last awhile, it's sturdy. They're wasn't enough weather stripping though. And the directions were very minimal and unclear, but I just did what I thought was best and so far so good.

The quality of the door is so so. There is some assembly required that took about 10 minutes. Installing the door was pretty straight forward. The tempered glass panels are nice and the aluminum frame is nice and sturdy. It did include two different size options when assembling and parts for both.I do have a few complaints.1. The foam insulation strip is not very wide or deep. I had to purchase some additional foam weather stripping to finish the install and prevent air gaps.2. Air leaks around the edges of the dog door. The fuzzy weather stripping on the outer edges don't reach the sides of the opening.3. To lock the dog door there are 5 small plastic slide latches that have to be slid over each time you want to secure it. There are two on each side and one on the bottom. I tried just using the bottom latch but my shih-tzu was able to push the door past the latch and open it anyway.4. The dog door is solid plastic and not flexible so really small dogs may have an issue with it.I had tried some other dog door inserts for my sliding door that had better dog doors but a flimsy frame and only had slide in plastic panels to block the screens. I would have probably returned this but I had already finished installing it and didn't want to have to try and find another one for the third time. It was still a pretty good price for what I received. I'm glad I got it on sale.

About 10 min to assemble and about 2 hours to install. Needed to grind down a bracket because my track isn’t as wide as some. I installed a latch to secure it to the sliding glass door. The sliding glass door needed adjusted to help it seal well; still not 100%, but good enough. The insert that goes in the middle that also helps adjust for height is really clever. The only problems I encountered were related to my sliding door. Would like to have seen a sturdier locking latch for the flap or a plate to cover it. Quite a good doggie door for a universal fit.

This item requires assembly. The instructions are very vague. The screw holes do not line up. It's very flimsy not sturdy at all. I would not recommend buying this item!!

This is something I've been looking for for a long time. I', glad I took the time to look for all the options. This is very sturdy. Super easy to use and install. I love it. My dogs are still learning to use it but they are not afraid of it.

Pretty simple to assemble. I needed a drill because the screws wouldn’t fit through the metal without the power drill. As far as installation goes the directions wants you to drill three different holes in your already existing door frame in order to actually secure the panel in place. Which it does say that in the directions, but realistically at least for me, I’m not drilling holes in my sliding glass door. If it’s not already self-explanatory this doesn’t allow you to actually lock the sliding glass door so do get a lock bar.I’m going to just insert the panel and leave it in my door frame, the weathering strips that they give you suck and they don’t even give you enough strips to fit on both sides of the panel so definitely get your own because it leaves gaps.It does the job kind of, I do feel like it’s kind of poorly made but it matches the price point.
