I initiated a Return. Cancel now. June '24. There were no instructions to find Fahrenheit. I had to just start pushing buttons, holding them down and what not to find Farenheit. Yes the scale is programed in, default is Celsius. I thought device was wrongly advertised bolsting F range. My apologies. Now if I just had some clamps to attach to 'K' plugs for clamping to HVAC lines. T1 T 2 together on same screen.

Easy to use great add on to the app. Overall can’t beat the cost.I just wish it integrated with the manifold automatically. Instead of having to add the values to the app to get SH and SC. But for the price it’s not a deal breaker.Update temps were very far off Elitech replaced unit. New seems to work but if you’re going to use it a lot I’d recommend a different brand. Haven’t had good luck with my other Elitech tools.

Other than the somewhat shallow instructions, I have little to complain about. The tool seems well-made, though I wouldn’t call it rugged. The display is large, easy to read, and the backlight is bright enough to use even in broad daylight.The application is also quite good, with several features that could be beneficial to HVAC professionals. These include the ability to create, save, and export reports in both PDF and spreadsheet formats, as well as the option to export screenshots of the current temperature display in PDF format. I was able to create these reports and screenshots, save them locally to my phone, and send them by email. Additionally, there is a recording function and an alarm function, though these are premium features that require an in app purchase and account creation. However, given the functionality of the base application, these premium features are not deal breakers for me, and I imagine they wouldn’t be for most users.Overall, I’m very satisfied with this tool, and I would consider purchasing other Elitech products if the need arises in the future.

It took a bit of work to get the two channels to match, but when all was done, they kept accurate readings. I used this to measure our over actual temperature versus what the oven was set at. The second channel was used to measure ambient temperature to see how much outside temperature affected the controller. results were interesting to say the least. I made a chart to tell what to set the oven controller at to get the actual temperature you want. Very useful tool.
