My 2014 ford fusion mykey was activated and I didn’t have the original key to disable it it’s been like that for over 2 years they said would have to go to the dealership and pay . With this device I was able to disable mykey and take it out completely in less than 5 minutes

I got this because I wanted to start making some custom changes using Forscan and it worked perfectly. I don’t know about other brands of vehicle makers but ford has two different styles of modules used in the truck. That’s why you have to get one with the toggle switch so you can read both styles. I even used this to pull some check engine codes off of my truck that a normal reader couldn’t find.

This it make you connect to the forscan easy.The only thing is some function are not available like programming or other functions that may be useful

I was able to program my 2017 F150 Platinum using FORscan with this cable. You need to make sure and get the driver for the cable, which is listed on the sheet that comes with the cable. People who are saying this cable wasn't recognized are probably not installing the driver. I got the device not recognized error, until I went back and read the instructions that came with the cable. As soon as I followed the instructions, I was able to connect and get rid of auto start, the seatbelt and door chimes, as well as do Lincoln fold mirrors and display the temperatures on my gauge cluster. Definitely worth the money.

Forscan said "Not recommended" but it was the cheapest and worked great. Make sure your battery is on a charger when leaving the key in the on position for extended periods. This keeps the system voltage high enough so that it can read all modules.

It works with FORScan, and allowed me to make changes to my Edge's software even. Can't give it five stars cause it's not an all-in-one package, but it will work with your Windows laptop just fine.

Usato per resettare degli errori sulla mia ford con programma apposito. Fa quello che deve senza nessun problema.Se proprio devo trovare un punto a sfavore, la levetta è leggermente dura da azionare, ma potrebbe essere solo nel mio caso. Comunque funziona a dovere.

I was a little cautious about buying a cheap OBD2 adapter but it worked flawlessly using Forscan on free extended 2 month licence - came up with 'use with caution, may not give access to all modules etc' type message when Forscan first started but no problems whatsoever in using it after that. I needed it to change battery State of Charge to 90% in a 2023 Ford Fiesta ST Line X. Forscan told me when to switch from HS to MS and vice-versa when necessaryand a simple 2 minute job!
