This bulb planted works great. Probably cut the time to plant bulbs by 90 percent. A word of caution, you will need a drill with reverse. When this catches a root, it will screw it's self into the ground and you will need reverse to get it out. A slower drill speed is better than fast.I highly recommend this tool and would buy it again, but I think this one will last a lifetime.

This product has made gardening and planting so much easier and less time consuming. The first time I used this auger drill bit was to dig holes to transplant daylilies and irises. This bit made digging holes so much faster and less labor intensive. The two things that I would look out for when using this tool are (1) be careful when using the tool near thick roots as the bit will catch and possibly dislodge and (2) make sure that you pull back a weed barrier before drilling.I'll definitely keep this tool in my gardening bag and use this all year round. This was a great buy!

This drill bit saved me a LOT of time digging 60 holes to plant bulbs! I was done planting in a couple of hours. Very sturdy and well made.

I live in Eastern North Carolina so our soil is pretty sandy. That being said, this auger bit works great. I was able to plant 35 bulbs with little effort on my part. Definitely worth the money.
