This has been so helpful with planting. I did 8k heads of garlic and this tool helped me make perfect straight rows and perfectly spaced holes. I like that you can adjust the spacing and the depth of the hole.It’s a little small for big garlic cloves and probably too big a hole for tiny seeds but you can still use the tool for marking and trenching rows and so much more. I look forward to using it for planting green beans and bigger seeds like that- it should really shine.It is just plastic though- so if you are working in the ground it’s not going to help much with rocks and things. Also hard ground is going to be difficult. But since most people garden in soft potting soil or well prepared beds I feel confident giving this 5 stars!A stainless steel version of this would be even better. But for the price you can’t beat this!

This dibber/seeder is wonderful. The plastic is thick and the screws that hold in the pokers are solid. I love the ability to choose the different seed spacing options depending on what I want to plant. They provide a spacing guide as well, in case you aren't certain how far apart to plant. It also comes with a little shovel if you need to dig the ground a little bit. I would have preferred a brighter color, so that it is easier to see on the ground, but overall I have few complaints. This is going to be a well used garden tool for years to come!

The idea behind this is well meaning, but it seemed to take me longer to plant with it then without it.It is well built. It is light weight, and the color was exactly as shown.The size was perfect to handle, and the accuracy was perfect for what I set it to.Functionality it works like it says it does.Like I said I thought this would make things easier and faster for me and it did not.

I was using a seed square, but it ended up cracking. got this to replace for planting my garden and its so much better. make sure the soil is damp when using to keep the holes from filling back in. Tons of options for spacing and makes direct sewing of seeds a breeze. also works well when starting transplants indoors
