First off, we will need to see how long this portable table saw holds-up. I have to say that the aluminum construction and the plastic handles do give the impression that they may not be as durable as some name brand models. So far, so good though. What is for sure is that this table saw is loaded with lots of convenient features. The expandable rip fence gives good reach for wider cuts. This is a very nice feature and one that really comes in handy on the job. The scale is only marked for metric measurement though, so that is something of a downside for me. The rip fence does lock firmly in place. I have worked with lots of table saws where the rip fence gives when a minimal amount of pressure is exerted against it. That can be a real pain. The blade control mechanism is solid and sure. Moving it to the right height is a snap and it stays there (it goes to 3 3/8†which is typical for a 10†saw – but I sure wish it could go to 3 1/2" so I could cut 4x4’s). Plus, the miter angle adjustment works smoothly and accurately too. The motor is strong and powerful. I don’t believe it will be stalling for any of the materials I will be working with. I have had no problems with kickbacks. It is lightweight and very portable. The carry handle really helps. Just as a warning, it does not come with the portable stand and cart that is shown in some of the photos in the listing. Plus, the AI Assistant says it does come with it. So for clarity, the portable stand and cart is an optional item that is available for purchase. The power switch is in a good location and easy to turn on and off. This is especially helpful when something goes wrong, and you need to shut down the motor. Overall, I like this portable 10†table saw a lot and I am happy with its performance. I would say that it is a good value.
