Love the ability to lock it in the closed position for transport. If you've never used this style loppers before it takes some getting used to but once you change up from using force to using the ratcheting cutting system it really changes the game. Quality build/feel and the cutting edge is not only sharp but looks extremely durable. Looking forward to many years of use with it.

I tried 2 different loppers but both were hard to work with; one even had a supposed ratchet action - NOT. The E-Z Kut loppers are amazing !. They have an excellent ratchet system. The length of the handles is perfect for me. I highly recommend them.

Great lopper. Unfortunately, ours broke on the second outing. Blade snapped right off. To be fair, we might have been asking a little too much of it. Reached out to customer service and for a small processing fee, now have a replacement part headed my way. Solid loppers. Great customer service.

After recent (2 1/2 months) hand reconstruction surgery I found spring and summer pruning and cutting of branches and other stray growth plant life to be nearly impossible. I tried every pruner and shear impossible to work with because of a serious loss of strength in the dominant hand, wrist and arm. Because we are clearing a 2 mile trail on heavily forest land, this was a problem. A chainsaw was overkill (and my ability to hold it safely as needed) for so many smaller branches, etc. was not a good alternative. I bought this in the hope that I could maybe use it to cut some smaller stragglers on the trail. Let me tell you - this looper has restored my ability to do so much clearing and clean up that I NEVER imagined I’d get the chance to do! It is well worth the price, the blade is sharp, it is easy to use, lightweight enough for me to wield it efficiently and has restored my ability to cut even rather large young saplings when needed! Highly recommended.

My wife lost her loppers after helping some neighbors. After much searching, I settled on these because they had three things: ratchet assist, light weight, and US made. Within one day of receiving them, the loppers were in our backyard being used. No complaints and a smile were the stamp of approval.

I've been a great fan of ratchet loppers and pruners. Being an older woman whose hands are getting weaker, these enable me to cut thick branches that I otherwise would be unable to do. I used to use Florian products, and when they went out of business, I was very concerned about where I could find other brands. Then I discovered EZKut. I'm thrilled. They're sturdy but not too heavy. Highly recommend these!
