I was a little concerned when I opened it and saw the wires sticking out the back, but I followed the directions and hooked the red wire from the outlet to the top left black wire on the new switch, and the black wire from the outlet to the top right black wire on the switch. I then connected the grounds together, set the correct code to sync with my fan, and screwed it in. It works flawlessly—so much better than the wireless remote that came with it.

I wanted a wall switch for the fan to control the light, this has provided that and it looks pretty darn good. I still have the remote that came with the fan mounted by my bed. Both work on fan, and work well.

I was told that this was the wall remote I needed. It wasn’t. I had to wait for an electrician to install it. Once I got one it was too late to return. Was out a lot of money due to the wrong information.

The item appeared to be used, had burned marks, indicating it had been used, installed incorrectly, and possibly returned. Item didn’t work and was returned.

This worked perfectly with my Fanimation DC fan. It took 10 minutes to install with most of that time required to flip the circuit breaker.
