Your cart is empty.Flexible dew shield for Celestron 4 and 4se telescopes. Our flexible dew shields are made from nearly indestructible ABS plastic with Velcro closure and felt lining to keep dew from dripping. Velcro closure is sewn with reinforcing upholstery thread. Dew shields come with and without notch. Un-notched dew shields are for fork and "D" sized dovetail mounted telescopes. Notched versions are for "V" style dovetail mounted telescopes.

Bought for a generic 4" scope. This shield would fit 6" scopes better. I used a zip tie to keep it at required shape and 3D printed a thin circle to keep the front end expanded to correct size. works great to block stray light. I always use a dew heater for the actual dew. Great quality product.

This is really poor quality product. It is broken into 3 pieces and kept together with a felt like material and glue. Felt lime material separating from the outer plastic shell, and I never used it. It is unusable. The photo is very misleading. Poor quality overall. So sad.

The material is cut crooked. This makes putting the shield on in the dark a little frustrating. If you line up the edges, the tube is crooked.

Keeping the dew off the lens makes for a pleasant nights veiw. The product does just that. fits the Celestron SE4 great. This item is well made, and for the price, I don't think I could have made one better.

Arrived with the plastic outer material separating from the inner felt lining and with a crack in the plastic. The plastic material is also very brittle and with no effort, a piece broke off in my hand at room temperature. As telescopes are often subjected to temperatures not far above freezing, I can only imagine that the plastic outer material would would be far more brittle after sitting in the cold for a couple of hours. It isn't worth my time or trouble to send this back so I guess I'll eat the cost. However, I will make note of this brand and be sure to avoid it in the future. I will order the manufacturer's version instead.

Don't know why Celestron doesn't make a dew shield for their 4se. No problem, this works great!
