Works as expected, we used them with empty 3L Carlo Rossi wine bottles which we recycle as small fermenters for tests. The only problem is that the stopper will start sliding, we used tape to hold it in place the first time and after the first use this doesn’t seem to be a problem anymore.

Right fit! Being new to wine making equipment and measurements it took some trial and error to find the right match. These #6 size stoppers are the perfect fit for 1 gallon glass bottles, typically measuring 1 inch in diameter at opening. Very pleased so far.

These are the best air locks for a carboy when making wine. Easy to use but they can be a little difficult to clean.

Took a couple minutes today to install 3 vapor locks on my locking lid food safe buckets. Drilled a 1 1/8 diameter hole. Pressed in the cork, installed the lid then and air lock. And filled the air lock with sanitizer. I feel much better having a air lock then my balloon contraption I was using. My balloons would fill up with yeast and gook. This is more sanitary and allows less air to get in.

This type of Airlocks are much better than the other types as it tells you the pressure inside the terminator and gives you the indication that your fermentation is complete. check the water level on both sides to gauge the pressure and know when things are done.

The air locks are great, the rubber stoppers did not work for me, these would not stay in 1 gallon carboy. I found the silicone stoppers worked better.

I have some old caps , nothing like these. If you "force" them they'll bend . Be aware of description measurement! The top is almost as small as the bottom. I lost one in the 18 L . These are food for a bottle... misleading description.Went directly in the garbage.
