Not too long, not too short, just the cord I needed for the short distance between the trailer and my plug

I'd been looking for a replacement extension cord for my camper for awhile now, and was very happy to find this one. I love that it has a handle on both ends, which makes it much easier to separate from the plug and outlet. The female end lights up which might help when setting up after dark. It is VERY heavy duty and appears that it will hold up for many years, but only time will tell. I'm not thrilled with the bright yellow color, but I suppose that might at least help cut down on a tripping hazard. Mine did not come with a carrying strap as shown in the ad photo, but that's no big deal to me, I have my own. I haven't had a chance to use it in real time with my camper yet, but I did test it and all seems fine with it. Overall happy with this choice.

I got this extension cord because I knew my electrical hook ups where going to be father away than my trailer cord would reach. This cord worked great. It was a perfect match to my existing cord and allowed me to reach the hook ups. The cord seems well made.

This cable is very well made and has a heavy duty sheath. It has lights that indicate when it is powered and at 50 ft is plenty long enough to reach a distant hookup. I found it to be a good value for my RV and am overall very satisfied with it.

We got this so we have more options at the campgrounds as to positioning our RV. This gives us a lot more room to set up wherever we'd like on a typical site. It's made well and I haven't exactly measured it, but it's plenty long.

This is a review for "FIRMERST Heavy Duty 10 Gauge 30 Amp RV Extension Cord 50 Ft TT-30P to TT-30R..."How much can one say about an extension cord? Without taking resistance measurements, or running it under full load, I'll have to accept the 30A rating, and without bringing it to down to -40C I'll have to accept the low temperature spec (presumably it is still flexible at that a low temperature - RV'ers probably don't have to worry about that, electric car users might).Construction: with the clear plastic terminal casings, you could observe if there was ever a break in the connection at either end, or if there was any impending mechanical failure like cord separating from the plug.Just as pictured in the advert, the ends will plug into each other with the cord in opposing directions, such that one could string multiple cords end-to-end and get maximum length usage (although cord mfg'rs usually recommend against doing that due to the voltage drop that will occur at heavy loads). The end that will likely plug into the outlet has a handle that extends 2.25" from the panel, useful to know if one wants to be able to close and lock the lid over it (this measurement was not shown in the advert). It was also mentioned that there is a "bright red light" at the tail end to show when it is powered. That is not quite accurate for two reasons - the light is white and not red, and the light is also not very bright. It would be fine at evening or night, but it is not so bright as to be visible in daylight, you'd have to cover the end with something to see if it is powered. There is also an "adjustable strap" mentioned in the advert, picured as an orange clip/handle, to hold and carry the coil. I don't beleive mine came with any such strap, it arrived held in the coil with single-use tie straps on both sides.I beleive this extension cord will do the job just fine, but I have to ding the advertiser for some notable inaccuracies in the listing.

Got this as a backup for the line our rv came with. It is just as heavy duty as our original, and reaches the plug-ins just fine. Is absolutely a 30amp, has the correct plug-in unlike another, more expensive cord we tried at first. Rolls up well and stores easily in our outside storage space.
