This is a well made mat that has saved my laminate floor more than one time. I am pleased with the look and it was well worth the price. It isn't too thick for my robot vacuum to navigate and blends well with my decor. I would recommend this mat.

It didn't take longer than one week for this hearth rug to pay for itself! If I could give it 10 stars, I would give it 20! Super thin, very attractive and VERY functional! Just look at the picture..... saved my hardwood floor and never even marked the rug! Absolutely awesome product!

Have been using this fireplace protector since I received it first part of December. My stove runs 24 seven as a heat source in house. It does what it says it does, but I found that I had to put something on one side of it to keep it from sliding around all the time on my floors which I thought was dangerous for me. For those putting it over a rug I’m sure it works much better.As you can see by the picture, it doesn’t really clean up with just a regular fireplace broom, I find that it does allow wood and ash trash to collect underneath it, and like someone else has said the placement of their name could’ve been at the top instead of the bottom.For the price of it and it really does protect the floor. It’s worth the money as long as you are not someone who is crazy about the aesthetics of it.

Nice, large, just don't care for the label on it, but, it should do the job! It's a rather flimsy type of fire retardant plastic/vinyl. I haven't made a fire yet, but assume it should be OK.

Need a fire matt for in front of our wood stove insert. I could not believe how expensive these can be. Was able to find this one that was affordable and has worked great.This help protect the new laminate floor I installed while making it easy to clean up debris that falls on it, just fold it up, take it outside and give it a quick shake out.

We have now been using this product for 1 week and it has been both reliable and reassuring to me. We bought this due to the damage the wood stove has been causing the carpet. We have yet to see any damage or issues with this. It's sturdy and thick. The folds from being delivered came out within a day or 2 which made me happy!

This product will absolutely protect our carpet near the wood stove but has such a smooth bottom that we have to reposition it many times per day. I tried attaching double-sided carpet tape on the bottom but it is too smooth for that to stick.

We have this mat for a while now and every day I like it less. First it came with creases, and it looks those will be there forever. The mat is shiny, everything is showing, every speck of dust. There is plenty around wood burning fireplace. The mat can't be vacuumed, can't shake it off outside, the marks are there until you take wet rag and wash it. if one happens to have hardwood floor, it is traveling on its own.One star for the good looks on picture.

Works well for over 2 years of fires in Ontario. Multiple embers have landed on this and won’t burn if you remove embers in a timely manner. I wishI could get one bigger but this does the job and keeps things safe

This mat looks and feels quality. The size is perfect for our fireplace to protect the carpet in front of the hearth. It functions very well for when the odd spark flys out once in a while if fireguard is not in place. Helps when cleaning out the grate for putting ash bucket on and also when setting the fire up to light. Good vale for money.
