Your cart is empty.Another product from Fleece Performance built out of necessity is the 2003-2013 Cummins Coolant Bypass kit. The Cummins engine cooling system was designed to adequately cool a 300-350hp engine. When the horsepower is increased there is an increased demand on the cooling system. The rear cylinders suffer from a lack of coolant flow, and therefore, experience the highest coolant temperatures. This can cause excessive pressure to build in the system, especially the rear of the block and possibly blow out freeze plugs externally, or the smaller diameter plugs under the valve cover, leading to a failure. Weve designed our coolant bypass kit with a secondary thermostat, that unlike other brands, works based on temperature instead of excessive pressure. This solves the problem before pressure becomes an issue by ensuring consistent temperatures across all six cylinders.

Fit and finish on this kit is sexy af. I suggest using a buddies lift if your doing the whole thermal exchanger delete. Also fyi fleece for those of us that have engine lift hooks they block your logo on the thermostat riser, so send some more stickers/merch lol. Also i recommend during installation to leave the hose on the bypass block loose until you get everything in place. I like the clamps too thanks definitely a good call. All black anodized aluminum man this kit is sexy forget making your own if your thinking of going that route just trust me 350 bucks well spent.Also I don't think the instructions tell you this but I have an 06 cummins you have to put the line on the thermostat riser and tighten it before you bolt it on, our lift hooks get in the way, leave the line loose in the back to adjust. And pay attention to torque specs our thermostat housings don't take much so blue loctite and no more than 20 pounds fellas.

Purchase and install this December of 2022 and steel braided hose started leaking October 2024. Very disappointed!
