Water Level Control Valve 304 Stainless Steel Float Valve
How does the float valve works?
When the water level in the tank rises to the control line, the water supply is automatically stopped. As the water level drops, the float valve automatically opens to refill the tank, maintaining a full water level.Keep your tank water topped off.

Use more Teflon tapes to stop leakage
The straight thread needs Teflon tape to seal, if it leak water still, that means the Teflon tape is not enough on the thread, need to add more Teflon tape, normally hand-tighten it with 6-10 layers of PTFE tape to eliminate any leaks. If the free Teflon tape is not enough, you can buy some of it from local hardware store.

Auto Self-stop & Self-open water
The float valve automatically refills water for your water tank,water tower,livestock,animal water drinker when water drops below the valve level. Once it reaches the valve, it would automatically stop refilling water,so it will shut-off when the water reaches the internal float.
No electricity requested
A ball float valve inside allows water to flow until a specific level is reached. Once the water reaches this level, the float valve will be pushed up with water due to buoyancy and stop the flow of water. When the water level starts dropping, the valve will open again, and the water will start to flow again,so no need electricity.

Application
Product Instructions:
- Applicable water pressure range: Min 0.2 Max 10KG (please use it under reasonable conditions)
- The product must be installed vertically on the horizontal plane, and the float valve must be downward during installation
- Please fix the water pipe on the horizontal plane first, and then install the product on the water inlet pipe
- When in use, the stop valve of this valve must be fully opened
- If two ball valves are installed in a pool, they should be kept at the same level
- Before installation, please clean the impurities in the pipe to avoid impurities blocking the ball valve.

The new battery powered hand held pressure washers don't use pressurized water from the hydrant like a gas or electric unit does but rather siphons the water from a bucket, pool or stream. I don't think pool or stream water would be good to wash a vehicle with, so I needed a source of fresh water but did not want to stop and fill the bucket each time the water got low. I found these float valves and garden hose to 1/2â€NPT adapters on Amazon and to make the water bucket auto filling. The float valve comes with a bracket, but it was not sturdy enough for my use, so I designed and 3D printed a heavy duty bracket to fit on a standard 5 gallon bucket like all the large home improvement stores have. The float valve system works great and keep the bucket full faster than the pressure washer can use the water.If you have a similar need and access to a 3D printer, I put the design on Thingiverse where you can download it for free. I tried the Float Valve," made of 304 stainless steel, as a fully automatic water level controller for my livestock troughs and pool. While it has great potential, it clogs very easily. However, I recognize that this is largely due to user error; I'm using it with water from a shallow well, which is essentially unfiltered groundwater. I believe that if I were to use treated or filtered water, the float valve would last much longer and perform more effectively.

NPT tolerance so sloppy it only leaked despite excessive teflon tape. Whole valve was poorly built of cheap materials. I recommend spending a bit more for a higher quality product. I am returning the valve. I work with gas for a living, just to throw some credence towards my review, I know how to plumb.

It works but it leaks no matter what i do to stop that it still leaks so it kind of defeats the purpose of even having this cause i have to shut off the hose every time i am done with a fill. I can’t just leave it on to fill on its own or it will flood my home. i got this for my dog room hoping for an automatic watering option, i ran a new water line and attached a short hose from the spigot to the auto fill unit. I tightened eveything used the stuff provided in the box. nothing worked it still leaks out of the couplings on the unit. so i have given up and iam trying somthing else.

Replaces red livestock float valve. After a week in 100degree plus heat, it was a lifesaver for goats. It blasts water down which mixes algae better and keeps water cleaner. Easy to install
