There is nothing special about this lamp other than the lightbulb, the lightbulb works with any other fixture that uses the A19 socket (which is the most used size). The lamp itself is well made and very easy to put together. Be sure to pull the wire through the tube as you screw one onto the other, so that it does not leave any slack between each connecting rod.

Easy to assemble, wonderful lightings or dimming options, super convenient remote control.This is not fancy, but fits perfectly in an angle without wasting space, and provides many lighting options, soft, bright, warm, night-light... Purchased at a deal price, and recommend this super versatile lamp.It is no fuss yet doesn't look cheap. Excellent value for the money.

I got this floor lamp for my bedroom and it looks great there. It's easy to assemble, the dimming options add the value of the lamp and it comes with a remote so you can set the lighting according to your mood. Highly recommended for a small room.

Works but will not illuminate a room, it's more of an accent light. Also, it can only be controlled by the remote so if you lose it, you can only turn it off and on by the foot button and it's going to stay on whatever setting you left it at.
