I used this because I have a digital camera for streaming and meetings. but the top of my monitor is too high so I needed to angle it down. Its a 34" Alienware OLED wide and I have a 10" tablet below it to watch youtube or netflix on while doing other things on the main display so it has to be a bit above eye height. The monitor is mounted on an Ergotron arm too. I couldnt find anything to fix my use case until this. It works PERFECTLY. Its really well made and the ability to lock and tighten it in a fixed position means it would handle a much heavier camera too. Im so pleased with it and the over all look because I was originally using velcro and the camera moved etc.. This holds it IN PLACE. Hope my pictures help someone in the same scenario.

It works fairly well for lighter cameras and even on tripods to raise cameras a bit but when you trie to position it to far it tops much easier than the $60 versions

I dont know what you were thinking selling this piece of trash that is guaranteed to break. Pony up and buy the aluminum ones out there.

I am an amateur photographer/videographer (read: rank) and purchased this as part of a rig for my smartphone, so I could take video of my daugther's gymnastics with the Coaches' Eye app.Because mobility is important to me, I appreciated that this piece was constructed of plastic, rather than aluminum. Normally, I would am all about heft and solidity, but the savings in weight is a blessing, as I carry this head attached to the rig every day.On top of being a functional tripod head, it also effectively doubles as a stand -- so on those occasions when I need to set up my phone to take video, I don't necessarily need to have a tripod available. There are four pivot joints on this head, which I learned are all potential points of failure; they can be cinched down/adjusted for resistance with the included hex wrench tool. Surprisingly, I had trouble keeping the joints at the base tight enough to hold my smartphone setup without collapsing; the other two joints have been solid and secure (and didn't even need tightening). I am hoping a little blue loktite to the joint screws will resolve their tendency to loosen up prematurely. All in all, I am pleased with this Z head.Update: Within 48 hours, one of the plastic washers used as part of a pivot broke. I continued to have issues with keeping the screws for the primary joints tight enough. Metal hardware for the pivots may resolve this issue. Rating revised from 4 to 2 stars.

Producto lógico para su precio. La calidad del plástico no es la mejor pero sirve
