The original tracks on my MX8 lasted about 1 year. The OEM replacements that I bought on Amazon lasted about 9 months. The first set of these (comes in pack of 4 for $15) lasted 6 months, so it should give me the same amount of coverage for less than half the price. Your miles may vary, as I run my cleaner 5 hours a day in a pebble tec pool.

These tracks appear as good or better than OEM. Of course time will tell, but they seem to be wearing better and have less stretch than the original tracks that came on the MX8 unit. Contrary to many other reviews, they are VERY EASY TO INSTALL. Take those reviews with "a grain of salt". We run our robot 3x a week for 8 hours on a 16 x 32 in ground pool so it gets some mileage. The replacements have been in use now for nearly two months and are in great shape. I will buy again.
