Have not used the tap or die yet but they seem to be decent quality. Description did not state but this is a bottom tap not a tapered one. The product is made China.

Chewed up a barrel and muzzle device due to incorrect threading on the muzzle device from the manufacturer (I may have broken the Cardinal rule "Don't force it"). Ordered this set and couldn't be happier with the outcome. Recut the barrel threads with no issue and the tap ran through the muzzle device like butter. Everything fits perfectly now and saved me a ton of money.

I used this to tap a single hole I needed for a project. It worked and didn't break, what else can I say. Good price and would buy one again if needed. Have not used the die yet.

This tap and die is not a ace or a high quality tap and die but listen to this I used it for threading AR-15 barrel tips to screw the flash arrester back on the barrel and I thredded 5 barrels they worked like text book threading I will buy more taps and dies from Amazon at the drop af a hat
