I opted to get the OEM part for my 1984 Camaro Z28 by AC Delco. A bit more expensive but worth it. Was an easy replacement and it worked perfectly!

Perfect fit for c5 corvette. If your lights work when using the fob and your blowing the fuse inside the car on the floorboard and you have no lights in reverse. This is the fix. On the passenger side of the transmission. 7/8 socket to remove and install.

Replaced this part on my 06 GTO, it fixed the short going into reverse which blows the 15 Amp fuse.

After a subpar experience with a non OEM backup switch on my 2003 C5 Corvette, this switch did the trick. Will update review as time goes on but so far so good. GM genuine part based on the box and wrapping. Made in Mexico.

Works great so far after a couple of months anyway! Installed this in my 2003 Jeep Wrangler (5spd manual) after the backup lights quit working (They never worked actually since I purchased the jeep last summer) and I diagnosed the switch to be the culpret..
