GHS PHOSPHOR BRONZE ACOUSTIC STRINGS

GHS PHOSPHOR BRONZE ACOUSTIC STRINGS

Our GHS Phosphor Bronze acoustic guitar strings feature a special, durable alloy of copper, tin and phosphor wind over a hex core. This combination delivers a long-lasting, rich, and bright tone. Along with a redesigned core-to-cover ratio, this set gives increased brightness and flexibility without all those harsh overtones.

We've perfected the core-to-cover ratio for increased brightness and flexibility, while doing away with the harsh overtones. The cover wrap gives you a high end shimmer that will last for a long time.

GHS Phosphor Bronze Acoustic Strings are ideal on all types of acoustic guitars.

GHS NITRO-PACKS - KEEPS YOUR STRINGS FRESH!

With our Nitro-Packs we’ve eliminated the oxygen and sealed in nitrogen to insure the utmost line of defense against corrosion and oxidation for each individual string. GHS has implemented the Nitro-Pack into every guitar sized (4” square string envelope) package in the spring of 2016.

You deserve strings that are as fresh and brand new as the day they were sealed, whether you open them immediately, or after keeping them in a gig bag for months.

I've had this guitar for about a year. I've tried four kinds of strings:*The “cheap set” (seller’s words) that was on when I bought it used,*Martin Retro Acoustic MM12 (I bought my Yamaha when my Martin D-19 now that the “lifetime warranty” has expired). They had a strong bass, lots of fret buzz & didn’t fit this instrument’s sound. It didn’t need what these strings delivered.*D’Addario EJ16 didn’t sound good at all and seemed to lose their tone really quickly.*GHS S325 Phosphor Bronze Acoustic: I keep coming back to these. I like them in Light & in Extra Light and I’m actually liking the Extra Light because the tone is so similar and they’re easier on my fingers.

This was the first set of GHS strings I have ever tried and bought them upon a recommendation from JP Cormeir, the great flat pick artist from Canada. My oo18 Martin always sounded thin with lights so these I bought in Medium. Wow ! It made the oo18 come alive in a way I never expected and the extra standard tuning tension from medium strings has not been a problem what so ever. Never will my guitar be strung in anything but the GHS Medium phosphor strings. Great value...the pros know and JP never fails to find the best. I highly recommend them and plan to restring my collection in this string set. Amendment 1 ....the first and second strings have enormous stretch....suggest tuning to standard pitch...waiting a day and retuning again for the best concert pitch. Or just stretching as you go will work also but easy does it ..not too much so as to damage your bridge. Amazing sound.

First time using the extra light type and this brand. I strung them on my Martin acoustic guitar and I am not liking them as much as I had hoped I would. I prefer Martin strings compared to GHS. My good friend Shawn Jones uses this brand so I thought I’ll try them as his Lowden guitars sound great, maybe he uses a heavier gage. Anyway they sound ok just to tinny for my ears. Easy to play but to thin for me

I didn't have high expectations for these strings as I've never tried them, but a friend recommended them and I'm impressed.I have and adi/hog dreadnought that is fickle with strings as it can sound too bright for me with some brands. With these it's a very clear tone with some warmth and great sustain and volume. The highs sound very nice but not too bright, the mids stand out, and the lows are full of bass.I don't know how long these might last, but they feel great on the fingers, no roughness, but not as slick as Elixers either. But for hammer-ons and slides it's smooth sailing and my fingers don't slip around.I like them and will definitely give them another go.

I have been a fan of GHS phosphor bronze strings for years. In my opinion they render as fine a sound as you van get from an acoustic guitar as any string on the market. Their longevity is not as great, of course , as a poly coated string but the clarity is greater when they are new. Cleaning them after use. particularly a performance where the players hand might be sweaty would likely give the greatest life.

The 0.009" string broke during a first performance following the restringing. Had to buy another locally to replace it. The rest of the strings are working well.

… e non classica come scritto sull'annuncio.Devo ancora provarle.
