Pinking shears produce a ravel-resistant zigzag cut on seams. To maintain the original, hand-tuned setting of the blades, we recommend cutting only one layer of material at a time. Blades should be cleared of lint frequently to maximize effectiveness.~

These scissors are costly, compared to others but are well worth the price! Clean, sharp cutting edge. Just remember to put them out of sight so nobody uses them for paper or other dulling items!

Gingher is the highest quality for scissors. I use pinking shears when I don't want my fabric to fray on the cut edges. This scissor was just what I wanted. Will last a life time.

These are a lifetime investment, easily sharpened over the years. They last a lifetime, unless you lose them. Which I did my last move. I had a pair since the 80’s. When I realized they didn’t make it to my new house I did not hesitate to replace them.

I am using them on fabric to keep the fabric from unfraying as I quilt the various pieces together.

Blunt, just pulls and snags fabric rendering them useless, very disappointed...better of with £10 pear
