This lifting clamp is a beast - it definitely has some weight to it (which is good because you don't want something flimsy if you're moving expensive granite. It definitely feels well-built and sturdy. Rubber feet protect surfaces of whatever you're lifting. Hooked to the bucket hook of our John Deere and got lifting with ease. Really great tool to have.

We have wanted a terraced garden on our country property for a long time. This product sparked a plan for doing a rather extensive flower and vegetable garden. There is a hill that starts about fifty feet from our back patio. We have access to rough stone slabs including some granite that we will use. All of the moving positioning of the stones will be done using our tractor and this lift. This lift is very high quality and extremely easy to use We have moved the slabs to our staging area using it without any problems at all. Now to begin. We are so glad to have found this item to finally build our terraced garden. We recommend this product.

This was not what I was expecting at all.I got it thinking that it was a tool that you could use to manually.Pick up rocks and stones, but my husband looked at it and said you need a machine to use it.I don't know if the description said that or not.Obviously, I didn't read it very well.I just saw the title and ordered it so before warned probably read the description

This granite lifting clamp may be used for any sheet material, including granite but also other sheets of material. I use it on my tractor by attaching a chain to the bucket hooks and connecting this with a carabiner. It works well.

This has help well, the pinch design allows the clamp to tighten more in response to the items weight. I added this to my 1025R via a couple of bolted on hooks. This has made it easy to be lazy, especially when moving large slabs. I used it to remove a path to my front door in order to add some heating to keep snow from building up, worked like a charm.

I was genuinely amazed that this clamp is rated to lift well over 750 lbs! That's more than enough for anything I would ever need to lift. The clamp itself is very heavy duty steel construction painted bright yellow for safety. It weighs over 16 lbs, which gives it a heft that seems to indicate quality construction. There are bright red non-slip rubber pads on each side of the clamp so that the material you are hoisting does not shift during transit, yet are left without any scratches or damage. I am in the process of cleaning out several old barns on property I inherited, and this clamp will come in handy for moving some of the larger pieces. I plan to attach it to chain around my backhoe or utility tractor. I appreciate that I can adjust the jaws to grip materials with different thicknesses, making it a truly versatile tool for my arsenal; just adjust the pivot bolt in the jaw's arms to accommodate wood, drywall, stone, concrete, metal bars and more. Can't wait to make quick work of the projects I have around my property with this clamp!

I picked up this lift tool for granite, prefabricated concrete slabs and other stone and I am happy with it.It is a pinch style material handling clamp that leverages the weight of the load. The heavier the slab you try to lift, the more it clamps down tightly to hold it in place. It only opens 6â€, but that is plenty. If it were any bigger, the load might be so heavy that the clamp begins to crush the load under its own weight. This jig is build really well. You can feel it by the sheer weight if it alone. But, it was also out to the test and it performs as expected. Lifted prefab 4†concrete walls with no problems and do so for many hours and many days right out of the gate.Great tool, robust and sturdy, and well built. Well worth the cost, especially for its capacity rating.I recommend it.
