VERY happy with this gun safe. I bought this because I have 3 handguns in my house and I have young grandchildren who are in and out. I usually keep the guns available. BUT when the kids come, I have been locking them up with individual cables and trigger guards. THIS box allows me easily to lock them up loaded with no way anyone can get into it without a key, combination, or MY FINGERPRINT. The box comes with a cable which allows me to secure it to a shelf preventing, a thief from walking off with it. Well made, good value and it even has room for some jewelry! Also great when traveling with guns in the car and police require "locked box, ammo separate."

This is a great little safe for the price. We've priced other safes in retail stores that are much higher in price with less functionality. It does not, however, accommodate 4 carry firearms even though the description says 2-4. We could only get 3 carry sizes in it with the 3rd not laying flat. Love the multiple options for entry plus the locking cable for extra security. It's not too heavy (empty), good sturdy construction and easy to use. The instructions are fairly easy to follow.

I have children at home therefore I need to have a safe place to keep my personal protection items locked up.When I saw this safe I knew this was the perfect solution. I'm able to fit two large personal protection items in there plus accessories easily. I would imagine you can fit more if necessary. I like that you have the option to either use a physical key, a passcode, or your fingerprint for biometric use. The fingerprint pad seems to be very responsive which is very important for emergency situations. The LED screen is bright and easy to see. Overall I really like this safe it keeps my items protected and safe and it also is very well insulated. It is easy to use and set up they include nice instructions explaining how to get started. It has a good weight to it and feels like very good quality. This is an excellent value for your money.

This safe only fits one standard pistol and mags for us. I'd assume if you have compacts or a sub-compact pistol you could fit a couple, but that's about it. If you're adding magazines or any accessories the space gets tight quickly.This works well for a bedside safe or near your front door if you'd like to keep the kids out, but still have quick and easy accessibility. The door has a strong spring (in a good way) and with the fingerprint access, which consistently works well, you can get fast access to your handgun.

I got this for my home security handgun, and so far I've been very impressed by it. I should start off my noting that this is *not* a high-security gun safe, as almost none of these side-drawer safes with fingerprint sensors are. There are a few "flaws", which is to say, spots that a bad actor could pry in. However, that's not the role of this kind of safe; it's instead to provide a simple layer of protection for kids and such. And for that purpose, it's great.I only use it for one pistol (and some accessories). I can imagine a second one fitting in comfortable, but I question the "2-4" range unless you're talking about small pistols. The fingerprint sensors work great, and I have no problem opening it up. I also appreciate that there are multiple back-up options if the batteries run out. Obviously there's a physical key, but the ability to plug in USB power is appreciated.I will say, I do not like the numeric code unlock. You only get numbers from 1-6, and you're forced to choose a passcode of at least six numbers. Typically, if I'm thinking of six-digit codes, I like to have all numbers from 0-9 available. Having this weird limitation makes it harder to remember one of my key codes.Even with my complaints, this thing works great. It fits easily in a nightstand drawer, opens with a good amount of spring, and gives me a sense of security that my child is never going to get in. Solid product!

The lid is closed against spring pressure so when unlocked it raises automatically. My sample didn't open about 90% of the time. The problem is shown in the first picture. The bottom of the vertical bolt is bent slightly off to the right. This caused it to bind against the lock strike hard enough to prevent it from releasing properly. Bending the bolt straight using an adjustable wrench fixed it - straightened strike shown in second picture.Pros: Nice size to fit under car seat or similar spot. Fingerprint reader works well, as does the combination. Note that I added numbers 7, 8, 9, and 0, so that I could more easily program a combination number that I'm already familiar with - shown in third picture.Cons: The cable provided to secure the safe to an object is fairly thin, but that's common, I think. The problem here is in how it's secured to the safe using a relatively small single screw that passes through the safe wall and is screwed into a female threaded sleeve swaged to the end of the cable. Merely bending the female threaded sleeve back and forth with a pliers or similar will cause the screw thread part to fatigue and break in short order. No cable cutter required.With a few small changes, along with improved quality control, this would rate 5 stars.
