These do the job well. I bought a bulk pack of 10 and the price per unit was really good. Even if you store your fire arms in a safe there are times they may be out for cleaning or servicing or before a hunt or transportation. This is where having these is really convenient. Being programmable is great. No keys to misplace. I also like these for traveling and for the times weapons may be left in the vehicle. I do wish they had these in high visibility safety orange. Still these are a good value and inexpensive way to increase safety.

Used these on shotguns to comply with state law with guns in an open vehicle with not trunk, like a pickup truck. Easy to lock and unlock, without damage to weapons. Would buy again.

They program, lock, and keep my firearms safe. My only complaint and it may get better over time is I do have some difficulty when trying to reassemble the units on my firearms trying to line everything up to go back together. It doesn't affect functionality (which is great), just a minor inconvenience. If the receiver portion inlet was tapered a little it might help.

Good and secure on the right kind of trigger guards. That is, best on fixed, solid or build in guards, not the screw on types. If you can remove the guard, this lock can also be removed. I like them.

But the instructions suck. Never mentioned that you swing the combination panel down to unlock. Other locks have a level. Took me a while to figure this out

Simple and easy to use, no worry about a key to locate, fast to open and it fits snug on .410 and 20 GA.
