Because hydroponic growing methods don't use soil, you can bring your garden indoors without the mess. The ALTO GARDEN GX Hydroponic Tower is a fully contained, fully automated system which takes up less than three square feet in your home. Watering is performed by a water pump (included, with timer) which pumps water to the top of the tower. Gravity brings the water back down, watering roots along the way. Plant roots are also exposed to more air in a hydroponic tower, which leads to faster growth and quicker harvests.

Built in Timer for LED Lights
The LED grow lights have a built-in timer so you can automate lighting directly on the tower. No messy downloads, no Wi-Fi required! Can set the timer in 15 minute increments - at the 15th, 30th, 45th minute, or top of the hour. Automated lighting makes growing easy. Also includes on/off switch for manual control.
360 Degree Solid Body, Wide-Spaced Design
Each layer of the tower is a solid, 360 degree one-piece body. This means no leaky joints! Widely spaced pots prevent plants from crowding and competing for light. Spacious column design provides roots room to grow without cramping. Our 2mm thick walls are industry-leading.
Water Gauge
Convenient water gauge lets you know the water level inside the reservoir tank. Plants absorb a lot water and you'll also notice some evaporation too. It's important to always have enough water; this is essential for your plants. The water gauge helps you keep an eye on your water levels, so you know when it's time to refresh your tank.
10 Gallon Tank w/ Wheels
10 gallon tank is large enough to support vigorous and healthy plant growth. Plants have growth spurts and absorb more water as they get bigger - for 24 large plants, up to a liter a day! Large tank size reduces the need for constant re-filling. Wheels make the tower easy to move, and rotate around during harvest.
Thoughtful Design and Features
You don't want pots that are cramped too tightly, or your plants will crowd together and compete for light and water. This stunts their growth and affects their taste. Our wide-spaced pot design gives plants plenty of room to grow fuller, and more healthy. Lights on the GX Tower can be adjusted to accommodate plant growth. Keep the lights close to the tower when they're young, and move them farther away as they get bigger. You can also rotate the lights around the tower for fine-tuning. Each layer of the tower is a solid 360 degree one-piece construction. This means there are no leaky joints. Our 2mm thick walls are industry-leading. And our reservoir tank has a removable lid that makes re-filling a breeze.
Starter Kit Included
You will receive in the box: A + B nutrients (10 ounces each), rockwool cubes, a PH test pen and 3-head germination light with clamp. The included A + B plant nutrients have been precisely formulated for use in hydroponic systems. Simply add to your reservoir tank and your plants will receive all the needed nutrients to grow and thrive! 30 x rockwool cubes are also included. These cubes measure 1.75" x 1.75" for a snug fit without wobbling in your net pots. Measure PH in seconds with the handy digital test pen. And the germination light is key for indoor seed starting. Specifically designed for the germination stage - with added blue light for super-healthy seedlings!
Tower LED Grow Lights Included
Plants need light to synthesize sugar (food) from water and carbon dioxide in the air. Our broad spectrum LED grow lights provide all the wavelengths your plants need, to ensure they receive the right frequencies for healthy plant growth. But did you know, that plants also require periods of darkness too? That's right - you can't just leave the lights on 24 hours a day. That would be like humans never getting sleep! All that growth would tire them out. That's why the built-in automated timer is so important.

I am happy with this company, the product and customer support. Being new at hydroponics, I called in to help with assembly. One of the leds needed replacement due to a faulty connector.I spoke with Jensen and he sent me a replacement led wand and it fixed the problem. He went beyond to walk me though the process, answered all my questions and sent me some extra supplies to insure my success . He also followed up to make sure I wasn’t having any further problems.The tower is well made which was a nice surprise because it was priced below similar towers. The pump and timers work well and were easy to setup. It has been growing well and the Swiss Char and Kale and lettuce are outpacing my outside fall garden. I give Alto Gardens 5 stars and Jensen and the Company 6 stars. Very satisfied!

I am more than pleased with the Alto Garden hydroponic tower. It is sturdily built and I love the casters so you can easily move it. Once filled with water (about 10 gallons) you definitely want to move it by the base. Set up was pretty easy, but you will want to watch the video and follow instructions to make it easier.With that being said, I did have a minor issue and sent them an email. Within an hour or so, they responded and went way above and beyond to get everything straight. I wish I could give customer service higher that 5 stars. They were absolutely fantastic!Their website contains a lot of valuable info about growing hydroponically. Anything from starting seeds properly, pH, when to transplant to the tower... nearly everything you need to know. Everything is automatic with the timers (watering and light) and totally adjustable for you needs.The wonderful thing about the Alto Garden, is that is does not require an app or any kind of subscription service like others that are required to run at full potential. That is a huge plus!When we get closer to spring, I am planning on getting a few more towers for outside use without light kits. Yes, I love this tower that much. It is simple and easy to use. I already have it mostly planted and they are doing fantastically.

I recently purchased one of hydroponic towers and couldn’t be happier. It is a well-made piece of equipment that is easy to put together, setup and maintain. My son and I have already had several meals off the plants we’ve been growing. Pesto with super fresh basil just cannot be beat. If that is not enough, the customer service for this company is unsurpassed. Every interaction I have had with these folks has been successful and pleasant. I have been so impressed that I am planning on purchasing at least one more.

Assembled the tower without a hitch. The parts aligned and fit together without any problems. Recommend you watch the assembly video on the Amazon listing which helped. Was a little nervous when first turning the lights on, but sure enough they worked. There is a timer on top of the light so you can set your schedule how you want. Right now I’m growing lettuce varieties, parsley, cilantro, and basil. The cilantro is a little slow, but the other plants are doing well and are healthy. Really healthy so the lighting and watering must be doing a good job. Hopefully the cilantro will catch up. Happy with my purchase so far.

I did a lot of research before making this purchase. The price point was great since the only other one I was interested in was double the price. I love it so much I may purchase another one. I make a glass of green juice daily and where I live it is difficult and expensive to find organic greens. This will be perfect, no pesticides no bugs. Around here planting outside does not work what with the drought and every critter trying to eat anything they can find. I finally gave up on gardening but then I saw a hydrophobic set up and now I can garden again.The customer service is top notch, they immediately responded to any questions. This garden is so easy to set up and use I highly recommend it.

My first impression upon opening the package, was that everything was well packed and everything was in perfect condition. However, at first I was ready to be very disappointed because when I compared what I received, to what was listed on page two of the documentation, for tower components, they just did not match up. Upon comparing the page to the items laid out on my kitchen floor, I seemed to be missing the LED Light Base and the Timer for the water pump.I am embarrassed to admit, I failed to see, at first, the LED Light Base was just stuck in one of the tower sections for shipping. I had initially thought it was just the shower cap and lid. It was not until 20 minutes or more of reading and looking through the boxes, that I happened to pick all the tower sections to move them from one place to another, that I noticed "the odd one," turned it over and saw all the LED Lights curled up inside. Took a minute or two of careful prying to get the LED Light Base out of the tower section, and then uncurled the light sockets to their operating position, ready for use.I still had not found the missing timer, so I called and left a message with customer support, plus sent the an email. They were not open yet due to the two hour time zone difference between me and them. Anyway, the phone soon rang and I spent a VERY nice, hour plus, on the phone with customer support. I was very happy to hear that the company had been making changes to the items, faster than the documentation was being updated. They had received a number of complaints regarding poor performance of that mechanical pump timer, so had switched to a pump power supply with a built in timer that works great. Plug it in and it runs for 10 minutes, then turns off for 20 minutes, then repeats the on and off cycle.He also explained that the "extras" included in the shipment, were just things they had decided to include, but the documentation had not yet caught up to explain what they were and how to use them. That's why he wound up on the phone with me for so long as we discussed the various pros and cons of ways to germinate seeds and to be sure and use the newly included, Germination Light, over the Germination Tray.The customer support has been so good, that he has continued to discuss further points of hydroponics via email.
