Used it for the first time about a month ago. I initially used my tow broadcast spreader behind my atv to spread Sevin granules for grub control, but when there was only a small amount left and it would not drop through the hole anymore I dumped the remaining granules in this hand spreader and used it around my two apple trees. Works really great. Easy to hold and the crank turns just right to distribute the granules. I’m planning on using it again in the fall when it comes time to over seed a few bare spots in my yard. Instead of getting out the tow behind I’ll be able to focus on the areas that need attention. Really great product, I’d highly recommend.Eric in Wisconsin

Haven't had an opportunity to use it yet for spreading sand/deicer on my sidewalk here, but it appears to be reasonably sturdy and well made, fits the hand/forearm comfortably, and is just the size i was looking for. When i get to use it the next time we get ice i'll send along a follow-up.

Like the spreader, but was supposedly green, but the one I received was black. Not a big deal and the only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars
