This hanging scale is excellent! It's made of metal, rather than plastic, and the fittings and included hardware is substantial, well designed and plated with a smooth finish. Operating the scale is easy, and it's a simple matter to change units of measurement by just pressing a button. The display is clear and easy to read, and while in use is backlighted so that you can see it easily in dim or dark conditions. The front panel buttons are simple and self-explanatory, with a "hold" button that you can use to retain your measurement after removing the load. I used the included hook and shackle to hang a container of automotive coolant on it as a example. You can see the differnt unit scales and the well-lit display. A quality scale in my opinion, and heavy-duty, too.

I am pleasantly surprised by the quality of this scale. At this low price I figured it would be a lot less substantial feeling and not super accurate. It turns out to feels very sturdy and it reads the weight of a few pounds of Fish very precisely.I am comparing it side by side to a much more expensive scale that we have an it is within a couple of ounces accuracy which is amazing considering this can read up to 600lbs of weight and the old one stops at 50lbs.

Tested the scale using configurable weightlifting weights up to 80 pounds and the scale works fine and seems accurate enough. I had no place to hang the scale that could support > 300 pounds but based on the build quality I don't think it will have trouble handling the stated maximum. As always however, never stand underneath any weight hanging from a scale or crane.
