Very nice quality pain. Non-stick is excellent, heats up quickly on my gas range. The pan bottom is set up to use on a portable gas element so it won't slide off. The raised edges are a plus so the batter doesn't run off the edge. Instead of octopus (Tako) I used shrimp (Ebi) so you could call it an Ebiyaki pan. This pan is not for an electric/induction heat and clearly states this in the description. Perfect size for 2 to 4 people depending on how hungry they are. I cooked up 3 batches for my kids (5) and it was a lot of fun.

Have been using this pan eversince it arrived and I love it. Docked some stars because heat distribution in this pan is not even, but can make some adjustments. It's a perfect pan for my takoyaki addiction.

I use this to make takoyaki. It works well on our gas burner although since it’s rectangular and our burner is circular, there is a “ring†of hot spots. It doesn’t matter much to me because I just use an oven mitt to move the tray around a bit. It’s non stick, but I still oil it to allow for the takoyaki balls to easily rotate within the well. I haven’t used it for anything else yet but overall am very happy with this item.

The pan has a nice weight so it is very sturdy. It is coated so it is easy to clean. Make sure to use enough oil so the batter doesn’t stick. The heat distribution covers the square of the pan, so one row is missing heat. Still, it is a wonderful pan. My daughter and I had hours of fun making and eating takoyaki.

I bought this because I love takoyaki and wanted to make them at home with my own insides and twists on them and its great. The balls do come out a bit small compared to the ones you get at an actual takoyaki place but it is still just as good.

Its small, (not for mini pancakes) that’s exactly what I bought it for and the panacakes came out like a ball shape and didnt cook fully on the inside

Wow I love this thing! I just use Korean pancake mix and add in some fresh squid or octopus. Big hit at any party. Don't forget to add the Kewpie!

I love this pan. It feels substantial, not light and cheap. The coating makes it easy to clean. It browns the takoyaki quickly and evenly. It is fun to make takoyaki with my wife and son, standing around the pan, and with a couple of bamboo skewers in our hands flipping the great smelling, sizzling little dough balls. I would recommend this product.
