I'll be honest, I bought this cord to keep my beau from electrocuting himself. I plugged in his coffee pot once and the sparks were, well, disconcerting....He has a great Presto percolator, but that cord. Darn. Good beaus being hard to come by, I ordered this cord that afternoon and had it shipped to him. Its a great length, well made, the connector looks a little different than the original but still fits easily. And best of all, no sparks from the Presto or the cord.

These older style power cords are getting harder to find nowadays.This one works well enough for my coffee percolator.Buying an extra one might not be a bad thing.

This cord replacement for my coffee percolator had a nice snug fit... initially. Then after about 15-20 uses, it's loose and not secure.You can unscrew the plug and carefully squeeze the connector so it fits again, but that only lasts 1-2 uses, so not worth the effort.Not a good value since it will need to be replaced again very quickly.
