Love this pan! I wanted a pan just to make rotis and parathas on an electric stove and this is working great for that purpose. I don’t cook anything else on it. Gets hot enough which is necessary, and nonstick is fabulous! You need to crank up the heat though otherwise it’ll still get the job done, does a good job on prepackaged parathas on less heat but will take longer. Made Parathas from dough on it and they fluffed up just like they would on a gas stove. Haven’t tried making roti from scratch on it yet. Have had it for a little over a month now and no issues thus far.

Bought this for making dosas at home. We have an induction cooktop so finding good non-stick pans that are really flat on the bottom and heavy enough to not warp is not easy. This pan is all of that and more!

So I guess a "tava" is for making a specific type of food. I did not buy it for that purpose. I wanted a range-top non-stick griddle that would work on an induction cook-top for frying stuff like pancakes. This is just too small for my purpose and so returned it. Maybe it is fine for whatever food it is specifically designed to make but definitely not griddle size.

This Tava is very good. It's coating is best. It's 26 cm in size and has 4.8mm thickness which makes it very sturdy. Kindly note that use non stick Tava for specific use only and not for making all types of food. This increase life. E.g if purchased for making roti then use it for that only.
