  • Solid Metal Construction - The entire unit is made of brass, including the button! Quickly installs to most standard shower heads by simply using an adjustable wrench

Very nice valve. I have had several other brands but usually turn out to be plastic. This is ALL METAL & takes a few minutes to install. Water flow, pressure & operation is great. Per plumbing codes it does not turn water off completely, leaves a trickle. Too many valves are complete water shut-off.

In the prolonged draught, we are trying to conserve water. Control the flow rate on shower head is an effective measure. But the products on the markets are usually restrictors to limit the wafer flow to a fixed rate, and they are not easy to install or replace. This shower shutoff valve is a unique product that enables me to set the flow rate to any level between 0 and 100%, instead of a fixed rate. It is very simple to install and easy to use. In addition, the polished brass color and finish match my shower heads. After an exhaustive search, this is the only product that meets my requirements of flexible flow rate setting, and brass color. It worked perfectly. I was completely satisfied with it. I immediately ordered two more. All three were installed in my house, and they have all been working perfectly. Thank you for coming up with this unique and perfect product to solve my problem.

Male threads appear to be longer than in picture, hand tightened onto spray head with no leaks and a turn or so to spare, female side hand tightened to hose with no issues as well. Easy to control with a smooth sliding button, trickle feature reminds you to turn off water at valve, no leaks and water pressure seems the same. Appears well made with heavy brass construction and chrome plating.

I have tried other producers of this type of product and was left very disappointed. This one is of such a high quality that I was amazed that it was at a very reasonable price. Installation was very simple and most important was the fact that it works really well, very easy and smooth on/off push button.

There aren't many options on Amazon of one of these that easily lets a trickle out when "closed" to keep the water temp right, so I was excited to find it. But for some reason the threaded sections are really short. Not a big deal on the female end, but the male end runs out of threads before it can be screwed in far enough to seal. Unfortunately that makes it useless.

We had no choice but to switch to a tankless water heater back in September 2023. One of the fun facts we had to learn the hard way is that water flow reduced to less than .5 gallons per minute won't keep the water heater engaged. Our "trickle rate" was .37 gallons per minute (naturally). With the weather starting to turn colder, we found ourselves no longer using our water saving feature to avoid going through blasts of cold water multiple times while showering. Using all of that extra water didn't feel good either. We ended up trying quite a few shower heads with lower water flow that we could just use without worrying about how much water was being used or having to switch anything to keep the hot water flowing. Unfortunately the lower flow rates ended up being such lower pressure that showers were taking considerably longer therefore negating the whole reason for having lower G.P.M. We also tried some shower heads that claimed to be lower G.P.M. yet have high pressure. When measured, those had even higher amounts of water flowing each minute than our original one at full blast! Some of the higher pressure heads also can be painful not to mention how annoying it is when they make the shower curtain flail about. In trying some of the lower pressure heads, we were introduced to this switch. I found it could be bought by itself, and it was the missing piece we needed! It slides easily to allow us to control the pressure. The pressure stays lower without losing the hot water and easily gets switched to higher (or highest) pressure when rinsing. The piece is high quality too!

This was the best quality device I could find that has a brushed nickel finish. This device appears to be solid brass with a nickel coating, so it should last. When I first installed it, I got spray coming out of the button, so I uninstalled it, centered the "pin" or toggle button, and reinstalled it. Then it worked fine - so when installing, make sure the toggle button is not pushed too far to the left or the right. Now it is working perfectly.

The shower gets used A LOT by an autistic child that loves water, and the water bills are very expensive, so with a little searching I found a trickle valve. This was simple to install, you just take off your shower head, and put this in between the shower head and main shower line. Make sure to put plumber's tape on both sides, going in the direction of the way it's tightened. (Clockwise) Great product, save water!

With an injury to my toe, I am not allowed to get the dressings wet. Without this little valve I was unable to shut off the hand held shower while soaping sitting on a shower stool in the bathtub and water went everywhere. My son screwed this little gadget between the shower head and the 6 foot "cable" water line and it worked wonderfully to be able to quickly turn the water off and on again.

This part seems nicely made and feels substantial. It is all metal construction and has nice beefy washers. It also has a trickle feature so the water doesn't scald you when you reopen the valve. Customer service is very responsive. Only suggestion I have is for the default shutoff setting to allow a bit more water to flow through. Not a deal breaker.
