My old glass aquarium heater quit working so I starting looking for a new aquarium heater. Times have changed from only having the standard glass tube aquarium heater!! This heater has all the features I was looking for at a great price! Since we live in Florida and our electricity seems to go out during storms, the feature that it turns back on and at the temperature I had it set for before power failure was important to me! Here is a list of the features that were also important!1. Having the sensor probe to show me accurate water temperature!2. Having the plastic shield over the heating tubes to protect my fish!3.Digital read out for easy to read and adjust temperature!4.High temperature auto shut off5. Out of water alarmAs soon as I took it out of the box it felt like a quality heater! The heater tubes look like they are made from quality glass. I have another thermometer in my tank that matches the digital read out so it must be working right!Up close the digital read out tends to look fuzzy because the plastic cover has a texture to it. I have it on the side of my aquarium so I can see the read out. From a further distance it doesn’t look so fuzzy, clear plastic would fix that issue 🤷ðŸ»â€â™€ï¸. The thermometer has easy to read instructions and a 1 year warranty.I am pleased and so are my fish! I have the back of my tank painted black so you don’t even really see it! I hide the sensor behind a plant! I have a tall 55 gallon aquarium â¤ï¸

Works great. I’ve always used the old style heaters and this is certainly a step up.

We use this to heat a smaller duck pool for the winter and it's done a great job so far. We are in WI. It's a 30" diameter pool that's 12" deep and it easily keeps it 80° for the ducks.

IS WORKING AS IT SHOULD. THE WATER IS STAYING WITHIN 1 DEGREE OF WHAT I HAVE IT SET ON. I WRAPPED THE CONTROL IN A ZIPLOCK AND TRYING TO KEEP IT DRY. THE CORD COULD BE LONGER. THE FIRST ONE I BOUGHT DID GET WET AND DIED. IT JUST SEEMS YOU ARE USING FOR AN OUTSIDE POND, THE CORD WOULD BE A LITTLE LONGER TO GET IT AWAY FROM THE WATER SOURCE AND KEPT DRY.

This unit keeps my 45 gallon tank within 1 degree of its setting. It actually reads out in tenths, which is great. The display is outside the tank, and it is easy to see when it is in heating mode. My only downside to this unit is that the heater and temp sensor mount inside the tank, and then the control unit has to hang somewhere outside the tank where you can read it. The cables are long enough, but just be aware of that fact.If you get an error code E3, just move the remote sensor closer to the main heater unit. I contacted customer support because mine threw an E3, and they responded very quickly. So far, that seems to have solved the problem.

Estimados no se como reportar esta situación ya que es mi segundo pedido en la plataforma de Amazon. Expongo mi queja: el producto llegó bien muy bien empaquetado es más la caja sin un solo abollamiento. La caja corresponde al modelo que compré (el nuevo qué tiene los sensores de temperatura y el cable adicional de otro sensor, 3 cables en total) pero dentro de la caja me llega el modelo anterior que no tiene sensores de temperatura tal como se ve en las fotos esto es una molestia porque pagué por un artÃculo y envÃan uno de menor tecnologÃa y menor precio. Necesito que alguien me ayude por favor. Gracias

Use in a 40 breeder. Works well. Easy to adjust temp up or down. Warms up water faster then others I’ve had before.
