When I opened up the product, I noticed the amounts of the compounds were different. They give you two containers. Course grit, and fine grit. The course grit compound container was filled to the top. The fine grit compound only had about 1/3 of the bottle filled. I feel I've been ripped off.Just beware, when buying this. If you do this type of work (lapping valves), regularly, be sure to have enough of the fine grit compound. I did a full set of valves for a 5.7 hemi, and i didn't come close to using it all...but,It's the principal of it though. I feel the fine grit compound bottle should have been filled like the other one. I also think the next time I do this, I'll try it with the use of a drill, on a slow setting to help speed up the whole process of doing this task.

Works perfectly. This kit even includes enough grinding compound for plenty of valves If you do your valves by hand you get the enjoyment of feeling and hearing the compound working with no power tools involved. And by Old School I mean, Bring your own elbow grease. I would recommend this to a friend.

It was a good little sad. It seems the course paste could be coarser compared to my memory of Clover brand. The exhaust valves were difficult to cut. Seems like it took a lot of paste and a lot of work compared to what I remember. They could use smaller containers for the amount of paste in them.
