Waterproof Sun Shade Sail
Oxford fabric (185gsm) waterproof layer it has been treated to repel water, but not recommended to use in heavy rain, continuous heavy rain may cause slight water seepage.
Anti-rust D-rings
All four corners of the sun sail are equipped with 304 stainless steel D-ring swaps for easy installation. Edges of each corner of the sunshade canopy have been reinforced with sewing thread stitching.

Leave Allowance to Fit Hooks
Measurement is taken from D ring to D ring, Leave an 1.5-2 ft space between the fixing point and the shade sail to fit hardware or rope.
Installation Method
Install 2 corners of the sails higher than the other to allow the water run off.
Ensure the Installion Area
We recommended install it tiltly at the angle between 20° to 40° to allow for timely drainage.

I attached this from my house to m the railing on my back deck and keeps and area out of the weather nicely. I'm on second year of winter and still holding through wind rain and snow.

This waterproof sail awning is a mixed bag. If the awning is not angled correctly, it can create a water pocket that collects rainwater. As the pocket fills, the added weight causes the fabric to sag and distort, leaving an unsightly belly that is difficult to remove. This issue can potentially compromise the awning's structural integrity over time.If you live in an area with frequent heavy rainfall, I would not recommend this product. The water pocket issue can become a recurring problem, leading to frustration and potentially damaging the awning.On the other hand, if you primarily intend to use the awning for sun protection and enjoy the occasional breeze, it can be a good investment. The corners reach out by 10 but not the whole fabric. So go a few sizes up depending on what you are doing
