A: No, it doesn't. Each chicken waterer nipple has been manually tested before out of the factory, which ensures that the nipple doesn't leak.

1. When chickens are drinking, a little water will come out of the chicken's mouth, this is normal. It's not the quality of the chicken waterer nipple.
2. If you drilled a little bigger hole, please don't worry, we provide a roll of leakproof tape(Length:2m) to help you remedy the big hole and prevent it from leaking.

No leaks and no cups to collect dirt! These stay much cleaner than the cups. Chickens easy adopted to this style of watering. Comes with everything you need to install if you need to add a hole. Directly replaces the water cups w/o drilling. You can use these to add more watering stations, too.

These were easy to install and are working great in our chicken run. The chickens find them easy to use and they don't leak. We have them I stalled on a 5-gallon bucket and they work great.

Product is good quality and works on buckets and barrels with no leaks but, I still haven't been able to get my chicken to take to it. Also, (as I expected they would), will freeze up in the cold.

We have been using these for a few months with no issues - no leaking , the chickens figured out how to use very quickly- initially we were keeping other waterers in with them but now have taken them out ; the kit comes with the drill bit to make the holes in your containers - which makes it easy otherwise you would be trying to find the right size ; and they were cheap but good quality -

Bought these and a couple of 5 gallon buckets to make chicken watering holes, in their run and in the yard (we let them free range over several acres).By using 5 gallon buckets we only have to refill them about once a week or so, and in the winter these don't freeze up if you put a heater in the 5 gallon bucket to keep the water from freezing. The cup style would, which is why we went with this style.

Quality matters in this case.. my chickens try and try to drink from these- but it requires more work and delivers very tiny drips of water.. not enough to hydrate the flock. Complete waste of money.

Easy, very easy, to install.I put them in a green cat litter bucket with lid, trying to keep algae down ðŸ‘, fit is excellent. They did freeze when the water froze but I put a submergible fish tank warmer in the bucket and the water has not frozen since. No broken parts so far. Have enough parts to make two buckets.

Although I am disappointed that 2/10 now do not work and was hoping that the seller would replace given we have only used for a 2 months and already drilled holes to support their product. What is more disappointing is I have reached out to the seller twice with no response.
