I bought this 50 foot, 30 amp extension cord to use with my generator. I have another 50 foot cord that is L5-30P on one end with two 5-20R outlets on the other end, but I needed more length to get those outlets where I needed them, so this extension cord was the perfect solution. The jacketing is black and thick, and when the cord is rolled up it's a bit heavy but still manageable. Just plug it in, give it a twist, and off you go. I'm not especially hard on my cords so I feel like it will last me for many years - but if you're using it in a rough environment, I feel like it will still hold up quite well. I'm glad to have it.

I needed a 3 to 4 prong cable, but couldn’t find one so I had to buy an adapter for this cable which worked fine connecting this cable from my generator to my house. Seems like good quality.

We have a small generator that we've got to hook up to the home through our panel via a plug. This generator cord is nice and long to help keep the generator away from the house. Works great and even comes with a nice strap to keep it organized when not using.
