This is a great keyboard tray, improved from a previous model. There are now reinforcements to keep the middle from breaking, and the material is a strong board instead of the plastic from the last one I had. There is plenty of room for the keyboard and mouse, and any little trays you may be accustomed to keeping on your tray. The texture is slightly rough so the mouse can use it like a mouse-pad. Maybe this surface will hold its texture over time so it can continue working as a mousepad.

I installed this shelf within maybe one hour! Followed the pictures of which screws were used where and it was easy peasy. I don't really need it for a keyboard but rather for a place to write notes while I'm typing. This works perfectly. Also, there is a piece of metal in the back to keep items on the shelf from falling off the back. Never thought of that but would be the first person to need it! The depth is good and the width is very big. The surface is 26.5 inches from left to right and 11 inches not counting the slope in front. This size will be sufficient for anything I need. So happy with this purchase. If you need extra space for whatever purpose at your desk, try this item!***Read the description and see the video that shows the kind of desk with which this will not work.

Very sturdy, heavy and a snap in install. Tray glides smoothly also. My only complaint is that the glide rails under the tray extend to the very front of the tray and have somewhat sharp ends. You discover that if you go to pull open the tray from the front corners. In fact, some kind of small lip just under the front edge would be super handy for pulling out the tray. The current design requires you to actually grasp the tray.

Arrived in perfect condition, packaged well (including separating screws out and including a few extra), and so far very sturdy and reliable. Clamps hold well to edge of desk. Front beveled edge is more comfortable on wrists than a plain straight edge. I highly recommend!

I thought that it might be a problem that the tray comes in two pieces, but it is sturdy, easy to assemble and install, and does not stick when pulled in and out. Great buy.

You only have 2.75" of clearance between the top of the tray and the underside of your desk, and that's not adjustable. You may have to pull the tray all the way out if you have an ergo keyboard or large hands, and that might not be ergonomic for you as far as you have to roll your chair back more for this. I used to have a different brand that I used for 5 years, and it had adjustable height holes for the screws when you assembled it, so I could just stick my hands in between the keyboard and the desktop and touch type. I can't do that with this tray.Also be aware this tray comes in two pieces, right and left, that you have to screw metal plates on the underside to keep them together. So far this hasn't been a problem, but I haven't used this for long.My biggest complaint is that the sliders underneath get stuck and don't allow the tray to slide all the way forward and back. If screwed in tightly, they can refuse to move past a certain point, and I have had to fiddle with it, loosening up the bolts and repositioning the sliders to different positions, then tightening a little at a time and testing the range of motion. At first when I installed it, it would only push halfway under the table. I still can not extend one side as far as it should when pulling out the tray, but it's usable.Oh, and one more gripe. There's silicone grease in the slide tracks on the underside, which is where you may put your fingers to pull the tray out. You'll end up with sticky grease on your fingers.It's too late for me to send the item back. Oh well. That's my fault.

Overall decent product. Very sturdy and doesn’t move when typing on it. The size of the tray fits a standard keyboard with just enough room for a mouse (I had to buy a tiny mouse pad though). The rails move smoothly in and out of under your desk. Only issue I have are the edges of the rail. They are quite sharp and they stick out. So becareful if your legs are close to the tray.
