I have been using the Ice Pure CTO 10 water filter for several years with no problems. It works as expected and until recently I have had no complaints. However, the last five filters have caused a problem by plugging the water exit hole causing a significant loss of pressure in the entire house. I appears that the lining of the filter (most likely the 1 micron filter) is coming loose and blocking the exit hole.Normally I simply replace used filters and throw the packaging away. This time I happened to have the box and one filter left in my inventory. The box has a number X002GDFCZ3 on the end flap. I assume this is a lot number. Please check to see what happened. The defective (yup, they are defective) filters came from different boxes so this is a process problem, not a one-off defect.I will continue to use the filter I have on the shelf, but will change brands in the future.Get your act together.

I would like a filter that gets it all, but this is for a whole house filter combined with a charcoal filter. Does a good job and if the water is not really bad (comes from a lake with questionable processing) lasts about 6 months. I still do not drink with the water but my clothes no longer stain and the shower is now odor free. The proof of the matter is what you see on the filters when you replace them.

This filter makes my water feel softer I have real hard water and wasn’t expecting that but love it also my water taste so much better they have my business they packed each filter in bubble wrap so it shows me this company cares about there products I’m very surprised (all nice surprises) at how well these work if you’re searching for a filter to make a difference this one is it.

We have very good, clear water from the water district. This filter is on the water line to our spicket at the kitchen sink where we draw water for consumption. We probably filter 4-5 gallons of water threw it in a week. I change this filter every 6 months, which appears to be about right looking at the scum on the old filter. I forgot to change it one year and, o'boy, was it nasty after 12 months. It is labeled "whole house", but it is not large enough for that unless you want to change it weekly.

This is not my first order of taste filters, it perform well and fit perfectly in my under sink filter housing.Good quality filters at a good price. Nothing negative to report.

We draw water from a lake for are houseboat and the water has never been so clear in the porcelain bowlThe only draw back is that the Rv pump flow has slowed down just a little bit but I will take it for a great win ðŸ‘ðŸ‘ðŸ‘ðŸ‘👠Umpa

Bought them for my RV and they work great. It takes a few minutes with the water running to clear the water up after you install them but after that the water is crystal clear with no funky smells or tastes.
