Nice and lightweight. Handle is good for bracing. I used with Milwaukee cordless hole hang. Both models. Used for 1 trip so far. Worked as expected.

I bought this in combination with a DeWalt drill to drive my 8" ice auger. Works beautifully. After a few years of use, it has held up very well. I tried to recommend it to a friend, but could not seem to find it available any more. Sooooo, I am not even sure if this review will be of any value...... But, I am very glad I bought it when I did. I hope it last many many more years.

I ABSOLUTELY love this auger. I cannot believe i used the gas angers for so long before finally seeing what the hype was with these. It has stayed sharp for 2 seasons and at least 60 holes. I love how easy it is to use and the holder and handle assembly keep your wrists in check. I use mine with a Dewalt 20V brushless and 5ah battery. Depending on ice thickness will determine how many holes ypu can get, but I've never had to change a battery on a trip out on the ice. The auger is light and packs nice on the sled.

Works awesome! Be sure to have your drill set on the slower speed and it will work way better than the fast speed. Mine was a little crazy on high. Sure wish I would have bought one sooner!!

Good looking design. Not sure what happened to this zerk fitting but I will replace it. Might try it out this weekend, waiting on good ice.

It's heavy duty made and it worked excellent on my lazer hand auger. I used my 24 volt greenworks drill on it . Worked great! Has a grease fitting on it to add grease to the shaft if you ever have to. Better than most of the expensive ones I've seen out there.

I really like the auger works great .. i did up grade my drill to a Dewalt 20 volt xp the other Dewalt I had wasn't enough to run the 8 inch auger ... now I have no issues going thru 12 ro 15 inches of ice around 10 holes per battery ...
Works great for floating candles beautiful mold.

Bought the auger flight in 8 inch, paired it with A ridged high torque cordless drill, it is amazing, cuts effortlessly, probably drilled 11 holes in 11 minutes , the auger and drill combo weigh 15 lbs, of course the auger blades are sharp and new, so it should cut good, be aware that mistreating the auger is going to affect performance, make every effort to take good care of it

this is better than any gas auger out there on market. Extension is great so you don't have to bend as much when augering. I like the fact that it's quite a bit lighter than gas auger. Well done Boys

Buy it. It's bad ass on brushless hammerdrill 6ah flexvolt. Cuts 8" hole in 14" of ice in less then 8 seconds.External retaining ring came a little bent and popped off once already. Replaced it no big deal. I keep a few in my pocket now just in case.
