Was the right tool for the job! Punched out 4- 48" deep holes in a couple hours by myself! Wasn't easy as there was blood, sweat, tears and a muffler brand on my chest but was a dam site better than the manual way! Would recommend and hope I never have to use it again!!

I'm contractor from Illinois. 95% of my business is building decks on new walkout style homes. I've had this auger for a little more then a year and it is fantastic. It cuts through the ground as fast as anyone could possibly want. Most of the time I have to lift up slightly while drilling to keep the auger from diving to quick. A pretty good problem to have in my opinion. Can not say enough about the quality of the product

Works great in soil, emphasize, soil not clay. But in dirt it is really good, it’s a little big for my one man auger machine, but I use a smaller one first then the 12†and it works great when you don’t have roots, I live in the woods.

No dislikes everything was great, I used this product for planting trees cut my time 😀 for the installation by 4 hours 😀.

Bought this auger to use with my Earthquake Model# 9800K 2-Person Kohler Powerhead. Both the powerhead and this auger are beasts. However you need to keep some spare grade 8 bolts on hand for the auger because the original bolts bend easily and will shear off after a few hours of use.

Picked this up for our Tanaka one man auger that we use in our landscaping company. Connection wasn’t a direct fit but my machinist was able to make an adapter for me and it works great. Very pleased with my purchase and am considering some of their other diameters as well
