If the rough opening of your quad box is too big, this will likely solve your problem. Smooth, high quality finish and great fit. The material is as thick as it needs to be, but no thicker. The holes for mounting the electrical switches and outlet lined up perfectly and allowed for quick installation. This box extension will eliminate the need to add clumsy spacers on each fixture’s mounting screw and keeps the multiple fixtures lined up for easy installation of the cover plate.

Had 4-gang outlets that a contractor did not properly anchor to studs, making the mounting difficult. This solved the problem!

I have a 4 gang light switch box, I changed the switches from toggles to Decora dimmers, but the box is deep behind the drywall do the old switches were shimmed, and the shins weren't solid enough for the dimmers so they were starting to push in. This box extender went flush to the wall and enabled the switches to be screwed in tightly and stay flush. This was a lot better than anything I found locally at Home Depot or Canadian Tire as they were 1 gang extenders, so I would have needed 4 of them and I would have been tight to fit the wiring.

Took a little wiggling but ended up fitting well.The end results are posted in the pic a over.Happy happy.

Quality of the plastic was not what I anticipated based on the picture. Was also expecting accompanying screws but they were not included
