My poor cat had to wear a cone for 14 days. Half way through day one with the hard cone from the vet, I knew we weren't gonna make it. She couldn't get comfortable enough to sleep, she had difficulty jumping up on and down off things because the cone would hit and it scared her so she stopped. She would just sit in the corner. It broke my heart. Delivery for this soft cone was quick and by day three we had it and it changed everything. She couldn't sleep, she could be herself. By day nine she was even trying to play. Only regret I have is that I didn't order more than one because it would set wet when she would drink which made me feel bad that she had to try and sleep on the wet part. I would spin it so the wet part was behind her head but still wish I could have just slipped her into a dry one.

My cat obviously did not enjoy her punishment for scratching at her irritated ear, but I was pretty disappointed to see that because of the sweatpants-drawstring style closure mechanism used my small cat was able to overpower the little slider enough to get out of it when she really wanted to. For an item meant to be used on a pet that doesn't want it staying on should be an important thing to be sure works before bringing to market. Having to go on over the head because it is a closed circle with no separation system also made it extra stressful to get on a cat. Being able to wrap around and close sounds like a better idea after experiencing this one. It's soft enough though, definitely better than plastic, and seems easily washable.

Very easy to put on . Your cat can't lick it's very functional your pet sleeps the same doesn't weigh alot easy to wear very soft the size is just right very functional and affordable. Your pet can't lick the spot .

I got this because I have a cat who has been nervously licking his back, which is starting to cause him to go a bit bald at the base of his tail. Unfortunately, this cone offers too much freedom and he's still able to lick. If you're trying to aid a cat so they won't lick wounds, do not purchase this product.

She got out of it right away and then when we tightened it even more she was having a lot if trouble walking. Decided to go without the cone. We were lucky because She did fine without one after her spay surgery, but we were nervous as hell.

Fits my small cats neck due to draw string but the cone is way to flexible. It is not preventing scratching and bitting of tail/butt area so didn't do what we needed it to do.
