It is difficult to find the right cone for young kittens because they are very active. Many cones are just too large and/or too heavy for their little bodies. I foster kittens and have found that these cones work well. I am not afraid of the kittens injuring themselves by catching the cone on something because the cones are so flexible. I found it easy to cut them to the correct depth. The kittens adapted well and were able to sleep and even play in their tunnel. Be aware that they are what I would consider disposable. After a week or ten days, the cones tend to have a bit of wear and tear. I have already purchased another set.

Given the price I expected this to be junk or not work. Surprise! They are actually great - lightweight - easy on/off, cat really didn't mind it too much. What is great is that you can fold it back against their body so it doesn't have to be the regular 'cone', My cat's issue was the back of her neck/top of her back - this covered it perfectly.

We ordered this because we have adopted 2 kittens, (brother and sister), and we’re getting them fixed at 5 months. The boy could take the cone off instantly. No matter what! Even on the tightest setting on small. The girl could as well when worn as an e-collar. Then, I read online how one person recommended inverting the cone to block the licking of the stitches. While the boy could still get out, making the cone useless, the girl was less persuaded to try bc she could still eat and drink easily. This only inhibited the licking to a degree. While I needed both to be in the cones (as truly intended) to block them from licking each other’s stitches, this worked for one. Ultimately, we still have to keep them separated and under constant observation when together, even though all they want is to comforted by each other. This did mildly help the female kitten. In the end, I discovered a “post-surgical suit†for kittens that I ordered for her that works better for us for the remainder of her healing. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend, because I’m still having to purchase other products to do what this fails to achieve.

These cones aren’t properly sized. The small is more like an extra small and the medium is more like a small. I have a tiny cat and the mediums were too small.

I have purchased these cat cones several times over the last year. They were made of foam and the medium size fit my cat perfectly. I could trim the length so she could eat and groom herself, but the cone protected her neck that she has an allergy hot spot. The last two times I have ordered, (in the last 2 weeks), they have not been the same, despite the same link to order. They are now felt, super stiff and the sizing is completely different. These no longer work for me. I'm so disappointed and confused as to why the product was changed. You need to update your product description, because these are not made of PVC foam any more, they are crappy felt.

Got these to keep my Chorkies from biting and scratching there dry skin until it healed. These cute foam collars fit perfectly and the little snap made them more secure around there neck and loved that you got a few sized and two of each size. I have 6 cats and two dogs so might need extras and nice I have them in and in more than one size!!💕💕

It’s light weight. Easy to cut. It is adjustable, and if it is still a little tight, you can cut a notch or more to make the neck opening larger. You can cut down the sides to help them eat and drink. My fur baby is using it as it came with no problems. The flower design is cute too.
