I have ordered these before for my Rv garbage cupboard and they really do the job. Be careful not to knock it off into your garbage though. Adhesive could be a little stronger.

I got one of their trash cans from a local liquidation store and it's awesome for wet diapers. I loved the built in deodorizer it comes with, so I ordered the two pack for my other garbage cans. Sad to say, the adhesive does not work. One trash can I had to super gorilla glue and weigh down for 24 hours for it to stop falling into my trash and the other stainless steele trash can, luckily my husband caught it and set it aside but by the time I noticed it gone, I thought I already threw it away. I have yet to reattach. The deodorizer actually works but for heft things like diapers, they do not last the 9 months, I recommend ever 5 month change and the small version much more often.

This product works great for controlling odor, but the adhesive tape provided is garbage. Itried putting it on a diaper bin, and like others experienced, it wouldn't stay. I pulled it off (it came away by hand with ridiculous ease), and after scoring the smooth surface of the bin to which I wanted it attached, used a hot glue gun, and it's solidly stuck on there. As noted, if you choose to do the same, be sure to roughen the surface you want to put it on by scoring or crosshatching it with a knife, or rubbing with coarse sandpaper. Otherwise, the hot glue will not stick well enough to keep the box on. Hot glue does adhere very well to the box though, so prep your surface well, and you're good to go! In all other respects, I give this product full marks. It's completely removed the odor of a bin holding pads for bladder leaks, some pretty stinky stuff.

Read the reviews regarding these falling off inside the can, but I have had ours for a few months now and there has been no issue. Stays put, stays closed, works just as described.

First one fell right into the trash and we didn’t realize it so it was gone. Second one fell in as well but managed to find it. So it’s now sitting at the bottom of the trash can under the bag so not sure how well it will absorb odor that way.

I lost the case that came with my Itouchless trash can and this was a replacement. It works wonderfully.

I put these on the lid that opens. I can’t tell you if they help with odors because they fell off into the trash and I never saw them again. Maybe if you stick them to the side or something that doesn’t move…?

UPDATE: I found another issue. They can pop open easily and drop the charcoal packet into the trash. Look elsewhere!I tried them on two different trash cans; an iTouchless with a plastic lid and a Rubbermaid made of hard rubber. They did not stick on either one and I cleaned both with alcohol to remove any grease They lasted less than 24 hours. I had to use 3M permanent two sided tape to get them to stay put. The iTouchless had an additional problem. The lid wouldn't open with the deodorizer attached. I had to stick on the inside rim so the lid would still work. I wouldn't buy them again. They aren't worth all the effort to install them.

User error likely by not prepping lid before sticking on so it fell off and got thrown away - also noticed my can had a slot for the bags that go in it but it came with two and now I’m using the pouches to absorb odour from garbage and works great

Definitely reduced the garbage smell by over 90% - not completely, but a very big improvement. Some reviews said that the glue weakens after a few weeks, and the filter case will break loose from the inside top of the garbage lid. They are right. I even tried to reinforce it with some duck tape, but that too was little help. So I fastened the casing to the inside top of the garbage lid with two very small bolts and nuts - with the screws going from the outside of the garbage lid, through the lid, and into the produce case where the nut was placed on the bolt. Works perfect, and it took only 10 minutes to do this.
