Locking mechanism doesn’t work unless the entire piece is laying flat on a cupboard. Which isn’t conducive for opening a jar lid. Waste of money; not worth a dime.

I had to fumble with it a bit. No instructions included. I have very weak hand strength. Once you get a good grip on lid, it does give good leverage to open jars. The teeth seem a bit flimsy, or should not be as pointy. However i was able to open the jar. So it did serve its purpose.

My hands are too weak and deformed to get this thing to work for me. Not once could I open anything on my own using these. It was a waste of money. :(

This works great on large jars. It only takes one person to get the lid off. No more running hot water over the lid.
