Here's the solution. A great help when removing (or trying to remove) a stubborn lid. Sometimes it takes another step. Run hot water on the lid and then use this to twist off the lid.

The round grippy rubber discs that work well everyone's seen them before and they have nice colors what else am I going to say about this LOL.

I was hoping that the jar grippers were made of a heavier weight. I have arthritis and opening jars is a challenge. The grip on this brand was thin and slippery.
