I got this for my Sony handycam. I feel like it's kinda cheaply made but it should hold up for what it made for.

Since I have two Sony camcorders that have a multi-shoe, I ordered two of these. It is a tight fit on the AX100 but does work and stays in place. It's a slightly looser but firm fit in the AX700 but works just fine. Once mounted on the camcorder, the cold shoe ends up very very slightly misaligned with the camera's centerline so it's not perfect but close enough for an LED light, shotgun or other mic or, in my case, the DJI Mic 2 receiver. Highly recommended if you have an AX100 or AX700 camcorder.

Works like it should. It provides a tight fit so much so I feel like I will break it. It is durable though.

I had to order different ignorer to adapt to my camera. Cheaply made so do not over thighten.

I needed this to attach for an external light to my camcorder. Works perfectly and I like how you can tighten it when it's attached so it doesn't fall off.

Bought a secondhand Sony HDR-CX560 that captures distorted audio, but I managed to purchase (directly from Sony) an ECM-XSTM1M external mic . . . the only problem is the mic has an MIS shoe, while the camera is for AIS. Bought this adapter, hoping it would solve my problem, and . . . it really didn't. Yes, I can use it to attach the mic to the camera, but as I said, it's a piece of junk. It won't stay attached no matter how much you tighten - too many times the mic has fallen off of the camera, adapter and all (while breaking the tabs off as well, which I've had to superglue back on). If only I could find the Sony AX100 at a reasonable price somewhere out there.
