So far so good, i use it to hunt with and it stands up well, quiet, does not slide too much. I do not use it to hold anything heavy, just like one or 2 pounds, i have not used the hook on bottom at all.

I like the product but the straps are not user friendly. You don't want something to put on, that takes longer than opening the tripod.

As a landscape astrophotographer I can tell you that you don't want to pull this thing out of the box and try setting it up in the dark. Once you get used to the set up it goes on easily and works fantastic. I have several power banks that I need to have set up with my camera while working in the dark and sometimes the cold. So, having this bag set up under my camera easily allows me to add the ballast I need to stabilize the tripod as well as provide a place to put the power banks that I have connected to my camera, lens, monitor, etc.

Has a bunch of pockets around the edges that are useful. It held 15lb worth of weight without issue and had no problem attaching to my tripod.

The product would be a lot more useful if it had quick disconnects or hooks between the leg straps and the pouch corners. With just straps and buckles at each leg it takes some time to attach and remove.

My plan for this is twofold: One to add some weight to a tripod, but secondly, to have that weight be a battery power tank for a telescope camera. This works perfectly for that.I tried it on one of my more robustly-size photographic tripods (a Manfrotto 055) as I was concerned about the straps opening up wide enough to slide over the tripod leg latches without having to completely undo the nylon webbing from the plastic strap links. But - it worked just fine - I could open them up enough to slide right over the feet and latches of the tripod and up onto the main section.I did have to cinch each of the lengths all the way up to the tripod legs so that the entire unit wouldn't be flopped down too low, but it works just fine for that. If you wanted to have it lower, you certainly could by loosening those inner straps lengths.Easily holds my power tank. I have had it sitting on my tripod for a few hours and I do not see any slippage whatsoever, so it appears that this will be just perfect for my needs.Comes with a nice, lightweight mesh bag for storage.
