I use these every Spring / Fall for shrubs, bushes, flowers (different types for different garden species). They are the best! Very happy/ healthy gardens, shrubs and bushes!!! I use about 60 - 2 times a year - closely following directions = perfect results! Tip: try to set spikes in wet ground - after a moderate rain - much easier to put in!

I've been feeding my yard to help my plants resist the hot Texas summer. This has really helped my grass so I applied the same logic to my trees and shrubs and inserted these stakes as instructed. My trees were struggling to grow new foliage and would occasionally drop foliage resulting in a net loss. I knew I needed to do something to break this cycle and these plant food stakes were the right solution. I would highly recommend them, very easy to use and very effective for stimulating new healthy growth. Due to the extremely poor quality of soil in my neighborhood the trees and grass never stood a chance, but after proper feeding we are in good shape.

These tree spikes should do the job feeding a recently planted oak tree, but be careful inserting them. They are meant to be driven into fairly loose soil, and if the soil around your tree is compacted at all, they will break when pounded with a hammer. best to use a weed digger to make a hole to drive them into so they don't break

My ex used to be in charge of the plants in the house and the garden. She used to use the wrong fertilizer on my Green Giants and she scorched a bunch of them. Then she tried to blame it on the neighbor saying he was intentionally spraying Round Up on our trees. Turns out that wasn't true she just used fertilizer meant for other plants. Since I switched to the RIGHT kind my trees have grown by leaps and bounds. I've saved a lot of the scorched trees and things are looking really good now. Plus you get a good workout hammering the fertilizer spikes into the ground. My advice is to get a rubber mallet if you don't already have one and use that over a hammer. The spikes are solid by they do tend to break easily. The rubber knob they give and a rubber mallet helps keep the spikes in one piece.

I use these on the young tree I had purchased last year that didn’t really seem to be growing. When I put these near the tree, it really took off and probably grew 4 to 5 feet this year alone they are easy to use and work great. Will definitely buy more to help my tree and shrubs stay healthy and grow faster!

I purchased three packs of these fertilizer spikes. Be careful on what shrubs you use these on. For some unknown reason, some of the shrubs died after using these stakes. And it's been over six months and I have not noticed any improvement on any of the other plants I used these on.

Great way to fertilizer a fruit tree. Hammer a handful in around your tree twice a year spring and fall. Comes with a rubber cap to help keep the spike somewhat in one piece. I don’t think there’s much you can do about it breaking up a bit while hammering. But the cap helps. Tree has never looked so health. And a spliced plum branch is coming back to life.

I first used these stakes in the US and swore by them. For new and established trees and shrubs, they seem to provide great long term slow release nutrients and promote solid steady growth
